  • Must Have:
    • Associate Degree with 5+ Years of experience or bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
    • Hands on experience with configuring Cisco Switches or Hirschmann switches
    • McAfee or Norton experience
    • Hands on experience with Ethernet IP and various industrial field bus communication networks like Device Net, Profibus etc. and PLC Programming

    Plusses:
    • CCNA certification
    • Experience troubleshooting network with Wireshark

    Day to Day: An OEM is looking for Network engineers to join their team at various manufacturing facilities across the US. They will help lead the implementation efforts in the plant to Get Secure and Stay Secure under the manufacturing cybersecurity program and supporting the plant in achieving all cybersecurity metrics, thereby, protecting the plant floor systems from being compromised or vulnerable to cyber threats.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Implement cybersecurity controls and solutions developed under the manufacturing cybersecurity program.
    • Drives cybersecurity and network issues upstream for resolution.
    • Utilizes the plant IT reporting systems (e.g. ePO/Asset Inventory) to identify, communicate and fix endpoint security issues.
    • Maintains asset inventory of all manufacturing networked assets in the plant
    • Communicates and supports vulnerabilities remediation activities of IECN devices in the plant.
    • Engage central ME cybersecurity in assessing and reviewing newly proposed solutions or new applications at the plant.
    • Ensure Proper Usage of E-tools used to configure, troubleshoot and audit IECN networks
    • Provide inputs to central team and maintain STS/TIS for the plant IECN Ethernet troubleshooting
