Manage programs and projects involving multiple disciplines within the Information Security area, such as: Compliance programs (NIST, HITRUST, PCI, ISO27001, and SOC attestations), Monitoring and Incident Response, Vulnerability management, Application Security Testing and rollout of security technologies, among others

Accountable for overall management of assigned programs or projects

Oversee, develop and manage operating costs, request budget allocation and reallocations, ensure project and program is within budget; oversee project schedules and ensure mitigating strategies or contingencies are appropriately applied to anticipated risks and when issues arise

Organizational responsibility for establishing, managing and motivating multi-disciplinary project teams

Guide, council and remove obstacles to ensure project managers have all the tools and guidance to successfully execute on projects

Lead in the evolution of improving delivery of solutions, leveraging program and project management knowledge; Optimize existing standards and processes according to best in class capabilities and deploy across teams

Qualifications:

Minimum ten years of security IT project management experience, including full lifecycle project management, software development, and infrastructure deployment methodologies and industry best practices

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree is preferred

Strong project management skills with experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing multiple medium-to-large scale projects and programs from definition through implementation, involving internal personnel and consultants

Understanding of security technologies such as Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Security Information and Event Mgmt (SIEM) similar to RSA Security Analytics/Splunk, Config. Mgmt tools, vulnerability Mgmt tools like Qualys, cloud security (AWS, Azure), virtualization security, firewall management (CheckPoint, Cisco), is a plus; Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements such as NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, HITRUST, HIPAA, is a plus

Familiarity with attestation programs such as SOC reports, ISO 27001 certification, FedRAMP is preferred

Experience in the management of large, complex IT projects and programs, managing multi-phase, multi-track, high-risk projects with a significantly large number of team members concurrently; CISSP certification and Fluency in Spanish is a plus
