Position: Network/System Administrator

Hours: Full Time or Part Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional, self-motivated, high-energy individual with a positive attitude to provide Network and System administration to our clients. The daily tasks of this job will involve designing and managing networks. Applicant should understand network topology and server deployment and management. We currently are looking to bring more expertise in-house as we continue to grow.

The specific responsibilities of the position will be:

Assisting in projects where network or system administration is needed

Providing technical support on network or system administration related tickets

Deploying and managing switches.

Creating and managing vLANs

Optimizing network traffic

Strong understanding of VMware and Hyper-V

Expertise in Microsoft Group Policy

Expertise in addressing Active Directory issues

Expertise in troubleshooting DNS issues

Qualifications:

Experience working with Microsoft Windows Servers

Experience with Virtualization technologies

Experience in customer service

Experience installing servers and network equipment

Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Must pay attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Position location: Metro Detroit

Pay: Negotiable based on experience
