We are searching for a person for our Shipping / Receiving department
Overall Responsibilities:
To be part of our team we are looking for people that are meticulous in everything they set out to do. From Shipping / Receiving products in the warehouse, inventory management and organization, maintaining the cleanliness of the building, having an tidy, organized work area and the maturity level to work as part of a team and take pride in a job well done.
Warehouse experience would be an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
This position is full time, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. These hours are not suitable for a student.
Physical Demands:
You must be physically capable of climbing a ladder, and strong enough to lift 50 Lbs
Individual Responsibilities:
Shipping Department:
- Complete a pick list for orders to be shipped to customers
- Ensure parts that you are shipping are correct
- Package parts in a way they will arrive to the customer intact and with a professional look
- Print and attach shipping labels and prepare for the package to be loaded on the truck
- Make sure correct weights and dimensions are written on freight orders (hoods or larger parts that can't be sent by post or courier), and that they are correctly skidded and banded for shipping
- Advise supervisor when you are getting low on any supplies
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area
Receiving Department:
- Receive products that arrive from our vendors into our computer system
- Audit the purchase order as you're unpacking to confirm the correct parts were sent
- Scan part into system, print a label and put in a location to be put away in the inventory
- Put stock away to maintain a steady flow in the incoming/outgoing orders
- Advise supervisor when there are inaccuracy's on a purchase order
- Advise supervisor when you are running low on supplies
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area

Wage is $12/ hr to start. Increasing to $12.50 after 90 days, and $13.50 after one year.
Yearly reviews will determine increases after that time. .
