We Are Hiring Technician-PCT, Patient Care - 4 East ACE Unit - Full-Time,Night - Ascension St John HospitalUnit Description: The ACE (Acute Care of the Elderly) unit is a 24 bed medical-surgical unit devoted to the care of the 65 and older adult. This unit has medical telemetry. The goal is to maintain or improve the functionality of the patient while hospitalized for treatment. Scheduled Hours: This associate will work three 12 hour shifts per week starting at 7:00PM. This will include rotating weekends and holidays. Why Join Ascension? Aids with entry and exit of patients.
Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.
Responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment.

Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
Education:
Diploma
High school diploma or GED required
