Tandem Tile and Stone is a local company proudly serving southeastern Michigan. Our owner has lived in the area for over 40 years and has been in the construction industry for over 25. While it is not required, we are proud to be a licensed builder in the State of Michigan because it shows our dedication to the standards and codes that are in place to protect our clients and insure a long lasting, quality job.
With a focus in custom residential tile and stone projects, we are dedicated to customer service and strive to surpass expectations of quality and craftsmanship in everything that we do. As our business has grown, so has our need for experienced Tile Setters and Assistant/Helpers.
We are currently looking to hire 1 Tile Setter and 2 Tile Helpers/Assistants to join our team. While these positions are full time at 40 hours per week, we value our employees and understand the importance of a balanced home and work life. With this in mind, Tandem Tile & Stone offers optional overtime with no required weekends along with employee benefits including; health care, simple IRA contributions, mileage reimbursements and paid days off. Pay for these positions is hourly and based on experience.
Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Tile Helper/Assistant
- Must be able to work alone or with a team.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
Tile Setter
- Must have 3 or more years of residential Tile Setting experience.
- Must be able to build and waterproof a shower system properly.
- Must be comfortable with custom tile layouts and designs.
- Must be able to work alone or with a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
