The Trail's End Cafe started as a 40 seat breakfast counter M-F in 2011 and has since expanded to 140 seats across three dining rooms and two bars. Open 6 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We believe in carefully crafted comfort food and are looking for individuals who share our love and passion for fun and food.
We are looking for self-motivated, hardworking cooks who take pride in what they do. These individuals must have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing menu items in a fast paced environment, adhering to a high quality of food standards to ensure guest satisfaction. Awareness of food portions, food waste, and sanitation are part of the responsibilities of the position. Maintaining clean equipment and workspace is paramount.
Qualifications include previous relevant experience, a degree from a culinary arts training program or equivalent life experience preferably in a restaurant or similar retail establishment. This position requires scheduling flexibility to include working nights, weekends and/or holidays. We are seeking people who are passionate about food and great service.
