Part-Time Store Associate
Objective: To assist customers with purchases, order and merchandise products, help with receiving, stocking and inputting deliveries, maintain an attractive, clean, well-stocked store and provide prompt, courteous customer service.
Reports to: Store Owners

Qualifications:
Experience preferred.
Interest in natural foods, vitamins, supplements, herbs and body care products.
Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers and owners.
Reports to work for scheduled shifts, on-time and appropriately dressed.
Ability to handle multiple demands.
Able to lift about 35 pounds.
Flexible with hours – willingness to work weekends a must.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous customer service.
Adheres to all guidelines around product recommendation and information.
Checks out customer purchases accurately, efficiently.
Works with team to complete daily checklist duties.
Maintain attractive, fully stocked and rotated displays and shelves.
Keep shelf displays, aisles and storage areas in clean, orderly condition.
Receive and stock orders following established procedures.
Organizes tasks efficiently, maintains focus and stays productive.
Accepts and offers feedback and suggestions openly and respectfully.
Checks store communication log regularly; at least once per shift.
Responsible for ordering from assigned vendors in a timely manner to maintain inventory.
Keep inventory levels in line with customer demand.
Ensure order levels are maintained so that out of stocks are minimized and spoilage is not excessive.
Ensure all special orders and standing orders are handled accordingly.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
