Wright Architectural Millwork Corp., a forty-six-year-old custom Architectural Millwork manufacturer, located in Northampton, MA., is seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced individual to operate their Point-to-Point CNC Router and Edge Bander.
Job Responsibilities to Include:
Properly and efficiently, machine parts to size in a variety of materials utilizing drills, router bits, saws as well as the use of multiple aggregate heads.
Perform basic and routine maintenance of CNC and edge bander to ensure optimal functionality.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in and around machinery.
Follows all company policies and procedures, works with supervisor and management to accomplish goals of company.
Communicate effectively, positively and work effectively as a team member.
Display initiative and exhibit sound judgment and common sense.
Prerequisites:
Must have prior woodworking shop experience and ability to demonstrate knowledge of CNC operation.
Pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Strong understanding of CNC operation including cut depths, feed rates, speeds and how they relate to the different types of materials they are machining.
Knowledge of Weeke/Homag machinery and Wood Wop experience is a big plus.
