Sole Practitioner seeks Paralegal with experience in Personal Injury and Family Law.
In addition to general office duties such as scheduling, telephone, and email communications, your work in personal injury cases will involve creating files, client contact, communication with insurance companies, submitting PIP applications and following up on payment of medical bills and lost wages, requesting and organizing medical records and bills, and creating settlement demand packages.
Your work in family law cases will include client contact, creating files, organizing Rule 410 disclosure documents, coordinating client financial statement and other forms, preparing discovery requests and responses, drafting Pleadings, Motions and Pre-Trial Conference memos, and scheduling client and four way meetings.
You need to be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work on your own. Your work schedule will start at three days per week, from 9 am to 3 pm, with some flexibility on the specific days.
