Job Description
The Associate Director or Director of Global Alzheimer’s Diseasecommercial team leads activities focused on market understanding, market development, portfolio and brand strategy, customer engagement, launch readiness, and tactical planning, as well as, forecasting and resourcing across our AD portfolio for this EXCITING launch!
We currently seek an experienced Associate Director or Director to join our team as an individual conributor to support the launch of an investigational therapy for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease. This role will report to the Alzheimer’s Disease Global Commercial lead and be based in our Cambridge, MA headquarters.The incumbent will work extensively with other commercial, Market Access, Research and Development, Manufacturing & Supply, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Corporate Affairs (inc. Advocacy and policy) and region/affiliates.

Key responsibilities include:· Work closely with multiple functions, including clinical and medical affairs to define and move forward Life Cycle Management plans for the program
· Lead portfolio analysis of initiatives to invest for the future of the program
· Gather and disseminate customer feedback to build competitive advantages for the program.
· Understand the competitive landscape for the diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of Alzheimer’s
· Collaborate on the creation of the Scientific platform, to ensure alignment with key stakeholders
· Create the Key Opinion leaders engagement plan for the commercial organization to ensure their feedback is applied to our plans and we have active presence in the community
· Manage relationships with key societies and organizations to integrate to educational activities; Define and manage presence at key conferences.
· Design and guide affiliates on the creation of educational programs based on SME feedback
Establish strong relationships with Global Product Team members (across functions)
Lead a cross-functional team (across the matrix), including broader commercial functions (e.g., Customer and Market Insights, Forecasting), Market Access, R&D, Manufacturing & Supply, Medical, and Corporate Affairs
Qualifications
Education:B.A./B.Sc. in related field required (e.g., business, science, technology); M.B.A. highly preferred. Years of experience:At least 10 to 12 years relevant pharmaceutical marketing or commercial product launch experience in specialty pharma, both at an affiliate and regional/ global levelExperience in developing long-term launch strategies, shorter term launch plans, building launch teams/capabilities/resources, and executing launch at local level,
Experience influencing through the matrix, leading cross functional and cross geography teams, and working within or closely with affiliates
Substantial affiliate Marketing, Sales, Medical, Advocacy or Market Access experience a plus
Phase 2 or phase 3 development experience a plus
