Position Description CNC Machinist
Established production facility with global customer base seeking a CNC machinist to fulfill stainless steel machining operations.
Responsibilities include
- Reviewing drawings
- Programming parts
- Making accurate measurements
- Defining machining strategies
- Managing multiple competing priorities
- Achieving good part finish
- Setting up machines and tools
- Preparing CAM files to drive CNC machines (CamWorks, G-Code or Mazatrol).
- Preparing parts on time and with high precision
PFL presently has Yasnac and Fanuc controllers on our machines in addition to Mazak controllers.
- Mazak QT 28MS Lathe
- Mazak Integrex 200Y Mill/Turn
- Johnford Veritcal Mill
- Romi Lathe
- Slant 50 Lathe
- ProtoTrak Mill (2 axis)
- ProtoTrak Mill (3 axis)
PFL also has multiple manual lathes, drill presses, grinding and polishing tools, welding, electropolishing and testing capabilities.
This position requires the ability to utilize micrometers, calipers and other measuring equipment, and will necessitate communication with the welding and finishing departments. Candidate must have attention to detail, and good communication and math skills. We are an ISO 9001 facility.

Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience desired; trade experience a plus
Salary range is commensurate with experience
Expected starting salary is $25+/hour
