We are an entertainment company throughout New England looking for smart, engaging folks to do trivia events in Somerset and potentially in other nearby towns. Right now we are hiring for a regular Saturday location, so Saturday availability is a must.
We are also hiring for Braintree and Hanover, so if you live near any of these areas don't hesitate to apply!
You would MC our game which consists of twenty questions and play music in between each question. Shows generally last for three hours this is including set-up and break-down of equipment. Trivia can be held on any night of the week, but the highest concentration of events are Tues-Thurs. Most common start times are 7:00 and 8:00. All shows are concluded by 11:00.
This position is year-round, NOT seasonal or temporary. We are looking for candidates who will view this as a source of ongoing supplemental income (and fun!). Teachers make AWESOME trivia hosts, and teaching hours are a perfect complement to this job.
All questions and equipment are provided (except a laptop).
REQUIREMENTS:
-21+
-Engaging, energetic, and no fear of public speaking.
-Must have an upbeat, quirky, funny, or generally endearing personality and the ability to work a crowd!
-Reliable and capable of working independently.
-Minimum availability: Tues, Wednesday, and Thursday nights (or Tues/Thurs/SUN for Whitman/Hanover area). These are the nights we have the most trivia locations and will most frequently need coverage.
-Must be willing to work 3 or more nights weekly.
-Must possess laptop for playing music.
