We are an entertainment company throughout New England looking for smart, engaging folks to run trivia events in Hanover, Braintree, and potentially other nearby towns. We need someone who can consistently work Thursday and Sunday evenings. Someone who is located in between Hanover and Braintree would be ideal.
You would MC our game which consists of twenty questions and play music in between each question. Shows generally last for three hours this is including set-up and break-down of equipment. Trivia can be held on any night of the week, but the highest concentration of events are Tues-Thurs. Most common start times are 7:00 and 8:00. All shows are concluded by 11:00.
This position is year-round, NOT seasonal or temporary. We are looking for candidates who will view this as a source of ongoing supplemental income (and fun!). FYI, Teachers make AWESOME trivia hosts, and teaching hours are a perfect complement to this job.
All questions and equipment are provided (except a laptop).
REQUIREMENTS:
-21+
-Engaging, energetic, and no fear of public speaking.
-Must have an upbeat, quirky, funny, or generally endearing personality and the ability to work a crowd!
-Reliable and capable of working independently.
-Minimum availability: THURSDAY and SUNDAY evenings.
-Must be willing to work 3 or more nights weekly.
-Must possess laptop for playing music.
