Security Application Development Lead

Security Application Development Lead (State Street Bank and Trust Company; North Quincy, Massachusetts ): will be a technical position in State Street Corporate Security Technology Office and will serve as a leader with the creativity and desire to lead security architecture and provide design leadership for enterprise security architecture platform. The Security Application Development Lead will demonstrate proven technology leadership with the hands-on ability for IT analysis, design, and execution. This position will apply sustained software technical and programming expertise and technical proficiency utilizing IT tools, including Java, open source technologies like React JS, Redux, Redis, Camel Apache, Cloud CDT architecture and framework, Oracle 11g and 12c, Oracle replication with sequecing, Unix, Cloud REST based websevices coding, Clearcase and RTC Github. This position will also utilize knowledge of Agile practice at State Street Sustained analytical, decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills. Specific duties include: Developing IT technical solutions and lead security solutions; designing and developing security architect platform levering experience with IT tools, including React JS, Java 1.8, Redux, Redis, Oracle 11g, 12c, PL SQL, Linux, CDT 4.0 Cloud webservices framework, and apache camel projects; designing and developing security architect platform using IT Agile environment methodologies, State Street PaaS, IaaS+ Private/Hybrid Cloud, Oracle Exadata, Oracle replication, Clear Case, RTC, JIRA, and Github; applying experience with Disaster Recovery Planning and Resiliency Planning in developing security architecture platform; applying knowledge of financial services and IT systems and agile project experience in the performance of job duties; analyzing business requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs and evaluate time and cost limitations; leading Agile team and drive SDLC processes; collaborating with the business, IT stakeholders, and test teams to manage product delivery; collaborating with systems analysts, programmers, and other development staff to design and implement new applications and enhancements to existing applications; coordinating efforts within the agile team and outside agile to ensure tasks are completed successfully and in a timely manner; and demonstrating solid knowledge of the overall software development life cycle, including development , testing, and deployment of all application modules in the performance of the assigned job duties.

Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science or related technical field; and 5 years of experience in IT developing technical solutions in financial services industry; total experience must include at least 2 years leading security solutions

Must have: Demonstrated experience with Java 1.8, Oracle 11g, PL SQL, Linux, Cloud webservices CDT 4.0 framework, apache camel projects; proven understanding of Agile methodologies; demonstrated experience with PaaS, IaaS+ Private/Hybrid Cloud, and MQ; proven experience with Oracle Exadata; proven experience with Disaster Recovery Planning and Resiliency Planning; demonstrated experience with Clear Case, JIRA, Github; proven knowledge of financial industry concepts and regulations; demonstrated experience leading Agile team & driving SDLC processes; and ability to multi-task energetic fast learner and problem solver.
