AMS Security Specialist - Senior Associate

Access Monitoring and Support is looking for a Senior Associate to join a dynamic team responsible for performing services, processes and technology to ensure that State Street maintains a strong control environment related to system access. The AMS specialist will support the operationalization on the tasks related to Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls and associated new processes. The AMS specialist will be responsible for monitoring the access policy violations by analyzing the data entitlement surveillance, reporting access role rationalization and/or generating reports for business applications owner or other parties. They may also be required to complete user access requests account clean up or other special projects. The operating model is evolving so flexibility and understanding of the policy and the processes is required.

Tasks:

  • Monitor multiple in scope activities according to priorities and deadlines - multiple id, cross application, termination, leaver and mover
  • Complete assigned tasks completely and accurately
  • Provide input to define and continuously improve the processes applied to the activities performed
  • Liaise with internal and external audits to present current processes and provide requested supporting evidence
  • Assure timely corrective action is taken and at-risk activities are escalated to stakeholders
  • Associates degree in related technical and/or business field required
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Identity and Access Management controls
  • Demonstrates ability and eagerness to learn new tasks and skills and a strong interest in new technology
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and escalate issues and barriers
  • Experience working with offshore and other global and cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of logical access policies practices and procedures
  • Understanding of Corporate Information Security standards
  • Advanced understanding of MS applications with focus on data analysis (Excel) process flow (Visio) and presentations (Word PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
