RN with 5+ years of MMQ experience in Skilled Nursing Facility environment
Multi-facility experience is appreciated
Ability to manage a team is expected
Core Job Responsibilities:
Audit the Medicaid reimbursement components of all Long-term Care records weekly (includes ADL Flowsheets, MARs, TARs, Behavior Flowsheets).
Review for accuracy all resident Care Cards monthly.
Review treatments monthly to ensure that proper MD orders and licensed narrative documentation is in place, including completion of Signature page.
Monitor daily 24-hour report for potential treatments or skilled observation.
Review all Nursing Summaries as they are completed and provide immediate feedback to nursing staff regarding accuracy and completion.
Identify training needs and coordinate with DON/ADON, MDS Coordinator and SDC to provide ongoing education to staff.
