About Maloney Properties:

Established in 1981, Maloney Properties, Inc. (MPI) is a successful women-owned business. Our services include property management, real estate development, hospitality management, sales/marketing, and construction management services. We manage more than 90 housing communities with more than 10,000 units throughout the New England area.

About the Brokerage Division:

The Brokerage Division for Maloney Properties, Inc provides affordable housing services for property owners in Boston and the Metro Boston area. This includes conducting housing lotteries for newly constructed apartments and condominiums.

In addition to this, Maloney oversees existing properties and provides yearly income certifications, and leases affordable apartment vacancies.

Compensation: $26 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per with the possibility of overtime.

Location: Currently you will be able to work remotely while the office is closed.

Responsibilities:

Process income certification applications for affordable housing apartments and condominiums. This includes ensuring the applications are complete and calculating income and assets. This includes emailing, texting, and calling applicants to collect their paperwork.

Respond to applicant’s phone calls and emails.

Provide status updates to developers and property managers.

Attend weekly staff meetings.

Visit the property for tours (if needed).

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service, strong attention to detail and strong follow through skills are also required.

Excellent math skills are needed in order to calculate income and rent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Must have a valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
