Pastry cook job
A very elegant cafe located in the Back Bay neighborhood is looking for a pastry cook to join our creative team.

Type: Full time Or Part time

Responsibilities:
- 1+ year of professional pastry cooking experience preferred but not required
- Boston food handlers license is a plus
- Understand and maintain all standard pastry recipes
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Have a genuine passion for hospitality with solid food and beverage knowledge
- Should be able to maintain order under pressure
- Have the ability to multitask with a calm demeanor
- Hospitable and able to maintain high levels of service
- Have attention to detail
- Highly-adaptable
- Flexible with shifts and hours (ex. early morning shifts, holidays and weekends)
- Able to lift up to 25lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally
- A culinary training degree is preferred but not required
- Sense of urgency during day to day operation is a must
- follow safety guide lines: kitchen is a hazard place with sharp objects, technical equipment and etc.
- cleaning and sanitizing kitchen space according to health regulations
