We are looking for detail-oriented energetic individuals, based in the US or Canada, to create English transcripts from video or audio files. Below are the job requirements:
- Attention to detail, good grammar, correct spelling, and strong English writing skills are an absolute MUST for this job.
- The content we provide is in English and the subject matter can vary widely. Applicant must be open to accepting all types of materials. (we do not handle pornographic materials)
- Quick turnaround of files (either same day or next day) is required.
- We need a prompt response to acceptance of assigned projects - within 1 hour at most.
- Individual must be reliable and responsive.
- Preference will be given to people with more transcription experience.
- Suitable candidates will be given a short transcription test.
We pay transcribers a rate of $0.90 - $1.00 per minute of media transcribed. This is an independent contractor position, and payment will be made via PayPal at the beginning and middle of the month.
