Description: The Flight Test Senior Engineer’s primary role will be to support flight testing at Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as part of the Weapons Integration Team. The Weapons Integration team is responsible for planning and coordinating weapons certification and aircraft integration testing. Tasks include planning and executing weapons test flights, supporting test flight briefings/debriefings, providing real time control room monitoring of weapons related test flights, requesting/analyzing post-flight data, and supporting weapons system anomaly resolution as well as on-aircraft troubleshooting of weapons related hardware.Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering or related engineering degree.Familiar with aircraft weapons systems or experience with flight test.Desired Skills:Familiar with F-35 aircraft weapons systems or experience with F-35 flight test.Computer programming experience.MATLAB experience.Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Windows operating system.Works well within a team and possesses good written and verbal communication skills.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
