We'd love to have a conversation with you about joining our team!Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services is seeking an experienced Settlement Coordinator to join the team in our Hunt Valley office.Settlement Coordinators at Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services work in teams and with Title Service Representatives to provide customer service from opening the file to the closing table. They are the primary contact to ensure a smooth settlement transaction.Responsibilities will include:

Gathering necessary documents from all parties to complete the settlement file - including ordering payoffs, liens, HOA/Condo, judgments, etc.

Working directly with Real Estate Agents, Buyers, Sellers, Lenders and Mortgage Brokers to obtain information and/or answer questions regarding settlement.

Preparation of all settlement documents for closing to include the Final CD/HUD, Affidavits, Policies and all Title documents.

Working to resolve outstanding Title issues prior to closing.

Finalizing all fees prior to closing and providing this information to all applicable parties

Utilization of our real estate software system to its fullest capacity including imaging all necessary documents and emails received into file for use/review by production and legal teams.

Responsible for the delivery of truly exceptional customer service, through professional verbal and written communication.

The ideal candidate would have solid prior experience in a similar setting with a minimum of three years of title experience.Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma required. Paralegal certificate or related 2-year degree/certificate. program is helpful, but not required.

Ability to learn company specific software programs.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Willingness to work in a paperless environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.

Consistent display of professional communication and interaction with internal and external clients.
