Piper Companies is currently seeking a Senior Research Associate to join a biotechnology research organization in Frederick, MD. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and work with a drive to complete projects.
Responsibilities for the Senior Research Associate:- Propagate and maintain cultures
- Run assays (ELISAs, Western Blots, PCR, Immunofluorescence assays)
- Support BSL2, BSL3, and BSL4 studies
- Assist with the oversight and management of life sciences and laboratory projects
- Communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Track project status
- Data collection and review
- 3+ years of cell culture experience
- Experience working with both viral and bacterial samples
- Must have prior experience in a BSL-3 or BSL-4 environment
- Bachelor's Degree or higher within the Life Sciences space
- Active or previous Public Trust clearance preferred

- $75,000-$82,000. Based off of current compensation history and years of relevant experience
