Purpose for the Position:Â The Profit Sword Analyst is responsible for maintaining the Profit Sword system and providing support and resources to all users.

Essential Responsibilities:

Maintain Profit Sword Business Intelligence System for multiple users, hotel brands, and across a portfolio of managed hotels to include adding and removing and assigning appropriate access based on written access protocol.

Troubleshoot and correct all data and reporting issues in a timely and professional manner. Work with third party systems to establish and maintain interfaces. Review and audit system data for accuracy.

Conduct initial training and onboarding of all users, inclusive of owners/investors and associates both at the hotel and in the corporate office. Conduct on-site group training as well as one-one web-based refresher training. Create training resources that can be accessed on-demand by users. Respond timely to all system questions.

Draft and maintain written SOP's and best practices.

Regularly review and update for system changes and needs. Coordinate between multi-disciplines - operations, sales and marketing, accounting, and revenue management.

Work with new hotels added to the managed portfolio to implement Profit Sword, establish all interfaces including PMS, Sales System, Labor, STR and GSS.

Liaise between Profit Sword associates and RHG.

Review Profit Sword invoices to ensure accuracy.

Work with Corporate Controller to create invoices for the hotel. Coordinate all work orders.

Create custom reports to meet requirements of end users.

Be knowledgeable on all Profit Sword enhancements and updates to ensure end users are getting the most from the system. Review of product enhancements to make recommendations to leadership regarding implementation.

To do this kind of work, you must be able to:

Must be an advanced Profit Sword user - Profit Sage, Profit Pace, Profit Plan, and Profit Wizard.

Must possess strong business communication, both verbal and written, and possess strong skills in attention to close detail and have the ability to operate with a high degree of independence.

Ability to adapt to various end users, with various skill levels. Strong interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in M3 software, multiple PMS (FOSSE, OnQ, Opera, Galaxy, etc.) sales systems.

MS Office experience - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

Understand Hospitality Analytics, RevPar, ADR, Labor Productivity, CPOR, RPI, etc.

Physical Demands:Â Lifting 10 lbs. minimum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets and ledgers.ÂÂ Walking and standing are required occasionally. Reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing are required.

Environmental Conditions: Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. A job is considered "inside" if the worker spends approximately 75% or more of the time inside.

Math Skills:Â Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to apply mathematical operations to frequency distributions, reliability and validity tests, normal curve analysis of variance, and correlation techniques, etc.

Language Skills: Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to: ÂRead newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals. Write business letters, summaries and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style. Participate in discussions and debates. Speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects.

Specific Vocational Preparation: 5 (five) year multi-hotel Accounting experience and/or 4 (four) year Accounting Degree. M3 experience a plus. Must be proficient in math, have excellent communication skills, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and work independently. Must be able to manage and inspire staff.
