Energize your career at Exelon!PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONBreakerBox’ (the "Company") lead designer will serve as the Company’s chief visual and functional product designer. BreakerBox has been established to enable digital transactions in retail energy markets and this role is required to translate verbal or perceived and understood customer challenges into visual representations and digital interactions that effectively and efficiently solve those challenges. As is understood today, those challenges relate principally to the transacting of retail energy online.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Create web prototype templates of user interface elements and components for the development team to implement into the product

Understand that customers are experts in their problems, not their solutions - and relish in listening through customer’s headaches to make designs that solve problems – not in ticking boxes

Contribute to the development of the BreakerBox brand and identity

Qualifications POSITION SPECIFICATIONSMinimum:

5+ years of interaction design experience in a product role at a start-up, digital agency, or design consultancy

Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media, HCI, or something similar

Excel in a variety of design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, InVision, Framer, Principle, Adobe CC suite, HTML/CSS/JS

Have experience in properly agile environments (tight sprint planning, standups, retros, etc.)

Preferred:

Has previously served in lead design positions

Has previously developed a comprehensive web and mobile product in the B2B sector
