You will help develop and publish product-neutral, solution-level specifications to guide vendor/integrator designs to create an architecture using layered commercial products, configured in a particular manner to monitor and protect WLAN Access Systems and securing classified spaces.See https://www.nsa.gov/Resources/Everyone/csfc/Capability-Packages/ for more details about the program.This is a high-visibility role that will have you working closely with our customer to develop to develop and publish product-level requirements for industry Wireless Intrusion Detection and Wireless Intrusion Prevention systems to permit the use of commercial products and solutions to monito and protect wireless End User Devices (e.g., tablets, smartphones, and laptop computers) accessing secure enterprise services.A summary of your additional responsibilities is as follows:

Perform analyses of architectures and provide technical guidance in the development of functional requirements.

Provide technical guidance on Enterprise systems engineering and architecture concepts and principles.

Analyze commercial solutions to ensure that the defined capabilities continue to provide the security services and robustness required to account for technology development, new security issues, and new use cases.

You will work at our office in Annapolis Junction, MD. We provide a collaborative environment and a fully-stocked kitchen. We have an onsite lab that is open for use to create new ideas. What you need:

A minimum of 14 years’ systems engineering experience

Ensure engineering solutions for DoD and IC networks are mutually supportive and address key gaps in warfighter capabilities.

Provide subject matter expertise to various Enterprise IA Architecture community working groups, committees, and governance bodies.

Support efforts to further DoD's desire to establish a threat-based, cybersecurity architecture assessment methodology.

Development of systems engineering documentation, systems requirements and functional requirements.

A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management. Five (5) years additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
