We are looking for a part-time Front-End Developer to help in building and maintaining the next version of our real estate web application/business. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the client-side of the web application/content from supplied UI/UX designs and prototypes. Individual will work with the owner, back-end devs, and other teammembers to create, test and maintain the web application.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with web team and teammembers
Manages projects involving integration of website and databases/APIs
Understands emerging web technologies and leverages API integrations for various projects. Performs front-end debugging and troubleshooting
Uses our repo, style guides and staging sites to ensure code consistency and recoverability.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in web design/application development (relevant degree may be used in lieu of one year of experience)
Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and React/JavaScript
Proficiency in Node.js
Proficiency in PHP
Advanced experience with Bootstrap
Proficiency with UX/UI
Experience working in different hosting control panels, including setting up databases and editing DNS settings
Understanding of SEO best practice
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Project management and strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Creativity: uses new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications
Collaborative and positive attitude
Most of your work with the team will be done remotely with occasional in-office working sessions when needed. Must live within driving distance of our home office in Crofton, MD.
