Local Maryland Position
Candidates must be able to work full time on site at our office in Maryland.
Remote workers and freelancers will NOT be considered for this position.
Must have 3 years web and print design experience.
Job Summary
Our VP of Marketing is looking for an accomplished and self-motivated Web and graphic designer with experience in front-end development. In this role, you will provide creative, technical and content management support for marketing. The right candidate will be proficient in various graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite), web languages (CSS, HTML), and know how to configure WordPress themes and responsive page layouts. The ideal candidate also will have experience working on lead generation campaigns that may integrate web content for repurpose in organic and paid social media campaigns, email, infographics, Webinar presentations, online and print marketing materials.
Essential Responsibilities
Conceptualize, plan and design WordPress updates and changes, using knowledge of WordPress themes and CSS
Design/format and prepare blogs, email and digital advertising campaigns, sales promotion materials, Webinars and PPT presentations
Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and application development to create compelling marketing and sales materials
Implement designs through Hubspot CMS and Mailchimp
Support design needs of clients on websites, apps and other creative projects
Provide creative input, execute and track results of lead generation campaigns
Knowledge and use of social media channels to build exposure and engagement
Event planning and promotion
Update marketing contacts and lists through Hubspot as needed
Support ad-hoc mar-comm projects
Job Requirements
Candidates will not be considered if they do not meet the requirements under this section.
Bachelors Degree or Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
3-7 years of experience (minimum of 3 years) creating a variety of marketing materials, i.e. websites/landing pages, information architecture, email templates/campaigns, infographics, digital and print ads, collateral, etc.
Strong knowledge of and proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
Ability to configure WordPress themes
High level of knowledge of CSS
Working knowledge of modern responsive page builders and layouts
Working knowledge of HTML markup
Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint and other MS Office tools
Ability to work with executives, engineers, business development, and other personnel with equal success
Ability to improve processes for efficiencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional project management and organizational
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in BtoB marketing
Writing ability
Some html knowledge
Experience using Hubspot or other marketing automation platforms
Knowledge of Adobe Premiere; experience creating videos
Experience in marketing for IT and security sector

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000, commensurate with experience.
