Sabre is currently hiring an Information Assurance / Security Engineer to support our customer in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The selected candidate must be interested in working in a challenging, hands-on, development environment supporting the Department of Defense and other specialized customers. This position will be in support of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), C5ISR Center Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD), Cyber Security and Information Assurance (CSIA) Directorate, Cryptographic Modernization Branch As a member of a diverse engineering team, the selected candidate works closely with application development, networking, and cyber security groups to ensure that new and existing technical solutions are tested and implemented in a manner to ensure that network access and security are maintained against current and emerging threats. The candidate will act as a SME ensuring that modernization products meets Army and DoD needs. The selected candidate should be familiar with:
Knowledge and experience of the DoD key management enterprise
Working knowledge of DoD cyber security documents (e.g., acquisitions, strategy, policy, doctrine)
Authored and assisted in writing papers focusing on Army key management to include but not limited to strategy, planning guidance, policy, and doctrine
Experience and knowledge with legacy EKMS (Tier 0 & Tier 1), KMI, Electronic Key Distribution (EKD), Army and Joint mission planners (e.g., ACES, JENM), KMI-aware devices and applications, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Army force structure, NSA COMSEC policy, Army COMSEC policy, and DoD acquisition processes
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, EE, or a related field preferred
Five (5) to (10) years of experience in operating and engineering devices and distribution networks
Candidate must have an active DOD Secret Clearance, Top Secret/SCI preferred
