Bow Street Market in Freeport, Maine is looking for a full time customer service/front end member of management. He or she will report directly to the Store Manager. This person will actively work in a fast paced department with superior customer service expectations. Positive attitude and hygiene a must.

Description

Primary Function: You will assist in leading a team on our front end and beyond with primarily closing shifts. Be a role model for all Bow Street behaviors. Lead by making positive decisions impacting associates, merchandise quality and presentation and level of service offered to our customers. Willingness to be key holder and scan system card holder.

Responsibilities:

Promote customer good will by providing high standards of customer service

Build powerful and positive relationships with the customers and the community

Know and embrace the company's history and use it as a catalyst for growth.

Manage store operations in accordance with established policies and standard practices.

Maintain solid communication with the management team and all associates in the store.

Delegate and follow up on the work required for the efficient performance of the store in absence of store or assistant manager.

Qualifications: Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. Demonstrated good judgment solving problems, creating solutions and making decisions. Willingness to direct complaints, arbitrating disputes and resolving grievances to senior management team. Desire to lead associates through multiple departments.
