We are a medical marijuana cultivation facility (POSITIONED/ZONED TO BE IN THE ADULT USE MARKET) seeking trim staff. Looking for motivated, long term, reliable individuals to fill FT positions. If you are unable to meet our MINIMUM requirements do not apply for the position. Ideal candidates are detail focused and have experience in the cannabis industry. All employees will be held to a professional standard, including compliance with statewide laws.
Requirements and Necessary Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Able to sit/stand for 8+ hours
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
- Must consent to and pass criminal background check and Obtain Caregiver assistant Card from MMMP
- Availability on holidays and weekends
- Willing and able to work in protective gear with potential exposure to pollen, dust, potential allergens, and chemicals
- Must shower prior to work and wear clean clothes as to not track pest or other elements into facility. Scrubs or coveralls will be provided
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Current Maine MMJ patient card a plus
- Age 21+
- Relevant experience required
- Able to work in a professional environment and be expected to be held to a professional standard
- Maintain a positive attitude
Trimmer Duties and Requirements:
- Meet daily trim quotas, dependent on strain. Consistently trim Minimum 454 grams/1lb/day
- Full time: 40 hours/week minimum (NOT FLEXIBLE)
- Work quickly while producing quality results
- Responsible for all clean up of trim area at the end of each shift
- Ability to focus for long periods of time
- Dry trimming experience required
- Able to assist in harvest
