Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Responsibilities:

Warmly greet patients;

Handling incoming calls and checking voice messages;

Check in/out patients;

Coordinate and monitor waiting room;

Prepare patients for an appointment by updating patient records;

Record vital sign;

Provide follow up communication to patients;

Submit prior-authorizations of referrals to insurance companies;

Perform other clerical duties according to the needs of the office;

Minimum Qualifications for Medical Receptionist/Front Desk:

Previous customer service experience, (especially in a fast-paced professional settings) is strongly preferred;

Polished, professional image;

Outstanding interpersonal skills, including compassion, tact, and the desire to help others;

High attention to detail and follow-through;

Computer literacy including strong typing/data entry skills;

Some previous medical office experience is preferred.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for an appointment by updating patient records;

Provide follow up communication to patients; Scribe for doctor, stock rooms, assist with procedures

Submit prior-authorizations of referrals to insurance companies;

Perform other clerical duties according to the needs of the clinic;

Minimum Qualifications for Medical Assistant:

High school diploma or GED required;

Evidence of successful completion of a certified Medical Assistant program;

Current CPR certification;

Strong computer skills;

Detailed oriented;

Must be Multi-task;

Prior medical experience preferred.
