For over 26 years, Maine Mobile Health Program (MMHP) has provided health care services to migrant and seasonal farmworkers (MSFWs) across the state using an innovative approach to medical care that is low-barrier, values cultural competency, and embraces the human dignity of an invisible and vulnerable population. MMHPs unique model brings medical and behavioral health services to patients via mobile units where they live and work.
MMHP seeks a Behavioral Health Provider (BH Provider) to join our passionate, committed team seeking to improve the health status of MSFWs and their families. The BH Provider, a member of the Behavioral Health Team, will work with communities in Downeast Maine with the potential for travel to other communities with an MSFW presence. The BH Provider will be responsible for coordinating the provision of behavioral health services, including substance use disorder within MSFW communities.
