Davids Restaurant seeks to open in Edgecomb on the shore of the Sheepscot river in Mid-April. This year-round restaurant will offer dining as well as a venue for private events.
Davids is a restaurant unique in philosophy and management. Davids restaurants are currently pro-active community partners in Portland and South Portland where the other restaurants are located. We prefer to use local vendors and merchants as much as possible and we support all manner of community efforts, programs and schools.

We offer the following for staff who work more than 30 hours each week: $1500 /year towards Medical insurance (we currently offer 3 options thru Anthem), Dental insurance ( currently with Delta), 3% company match on Simple IRA retirement plan.
Salaried Managers work 5-day work-weeks with additional per diem or comp time pay for extra shifts. We strive to schedule all workers 2 consecutive days off most weeks unless they prefer alternative schedules.
We are not currently hiring staff for this location. The purpose of this ad is to determine if we will be able to find enough staff to open our restaurant.
