We have an opening for a full time cook and baker at the Pond Cove IGA.
We are no ordinary grocer. We have a fast paced kitchen that creates creative and delicious grab and go meals as well as standard grocery fare. You would be responsible for breakfast and lunch meal preparation as well as all baking needs for the store. Your duties would include preparation of various sandwiches, salads, baked goods and assisting with the barbecue that comes from our in house smoker.
The position is full time with benefits. (Benefits are considered after a three month starting period)
Ideally, you have experience in both cooking and baking professionally, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and a willingness to commit to long term employment.
