Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill an Accounts Payable job in SHREVEPORT, LA.Position Summary:
are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable professional to provide financial, administrative and clerical services. This position will be full time long term temporary assignment and will pay $15. Accounts Payable position duties include: ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and posting incoming financial transactions to an accounting system and making bank deposits.
Primary Responsibilities:
Sort, code and obtain approval on vendor invoices.
Enter and upload invoices into accounting system.
Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
Maintain correspondence between departments within Merrick and vendors.
Maintain confidentiality or organizational information.
Qualifications and Competencies
1-2 years of accounting (AP) experience
Results oriented work ethic
Integrity
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills - written and oral
Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines
Key Functional Skills and Knowledge
Strong time management and organizational skills
Detail Oriented
Strong MS Excel skills
General knowledge of SAP is needed
General knowledge of Accounting, specifically in Accounts Payable
Proficient in data entry and management
Diligent and thorough with work output
