The Elysian Bar, located in the gorgeous Hotel Peter and Paul, is looking for an energetic, passionate, experienced and hardworking Runner/Server to join an extremely dynamic and fun team.
We take hospitality very seriously and expect our staff to have a genuine love of people and working in service industry. We are looking for staff that are friendly, hospitable and warm with mad skills and the ability to work under a great deal of pressure without breaking a sweat. Operating with an 'all hands on deck' mentality, the lines are blurred between the front of house and back of house as it's a pooled tip house, so everyone works as a cohesive team.
As a runner/server, in addition to your normal duties, you may be called upon to perform a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to running food, drinks, deep cleaning, executing coffee service, helping with back of house duties, etc. to ensure that the guest experience is memorable and that your team feels supported.
All positions are tipped so all positions must be able to wear several hats and be able to move fluidly between the all the spaces with ease as well as be effective and strong communicators with their team and managers.
Positive attitude, genuine warmth and strong work ethic is a MUST!
We have a robust coffee program so any interest or experience in coffee service a plus!
A few other requirements of the positions are:
At least 2 years experience in restaurant or bar with craft cocktail program with some wine knowledge required
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Available nights, weekends and Holidays.
Familiarity with MICROS or other similar POS systems
Compensation: All positions Hourly plus tips
