Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the accounting team in our fast-growing company.
Payroll Specialist:
Several payroll runs each month, both weekly and biweekly
Overseeing timesheet software and preparation of timesheets for weekly approval
Payroll taxes (federal, state, workers comp, unemployment, etc.) for multiple states
Calculation of Per Diem, commissions, additional withholding, etc.
Child support, garnishments
Construction experience and/or cost costing experience a plus
Setting up new employees in the system
Must be able to keep all items in confidence
Prior experience running payroll within QuickBooks preferred
