CPA or CPA candidate sought for small local CPA firm in Metairie near Vets and Bonnabel. Must be able to prepare payroll filings, prepare monthly sales tax returns, upkeep depreciation, upkeep general ledger and handle tax return input. Experience with Quickbooks a must. Ideal candidate should have recent tax preparation experience or have taken an individual tax course as part of his/her college curriculum.

In addition, please expect to be able to do and or be the following:
Must be able to pass a background check
Non smoker
Must have reliable and available transportation
Must be proficient in Excel and Word
Must have good organizational and verbal skills
Must be confident enough to work alone and be a self-starter if needed AND be flexible enough to adapt to office needs (go with the office flow and be a team player)
Business casual attire is acceptable.
