Profit-On-Hold is a 30-year-old locally based company in Mandeville, LA. We offer quality on-hold telecommunications services to both a local and international clientele and are proud to be the best in our industry. Our new partner company, Airwaves Scenting, provides commercial grade scent marketing for hotels, retirement homes, veterinarians, and more.
Our office is seeking a practiced Bookkeeper with a minimum of five years' experience in accounts payable, receivables, to assist our comptroller. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES and MEASURES
Coordinate and perform as needed, all aspects of AR and AP processing, including bookkeeping responsibilities, billing, collections, etc.
Measures include on-time, every-time accurate processing, and high priority response time to employee and customer questions.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collect, compile, enter and process invoices by established deadlines
Review and verify source documents
Complete requests for pay-related documents including statements and verification.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills required
. Work with our comptroller and CPA on specific projects
. Assist with gathering commissions info and time clock data.
. Assist Comptroller on her days off. Clean up old receivable accounts.
. Help with moving to cloud based QB's in the next quarter
The position is two to two days per week, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
$16.50/hour
Other Qualifications Include:
Excellent Computer Skills - Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks required
Must have a neat professional appearance
Must be a team player
Excellent work ethic required
Northshore applicants preferred
