This Walmart account delivers dry and refrigerated freight to various Walmart locations across Texas and Louisiana. DONT FORGET WINTER IS COMING. NO SLIPPERY ROADS DOWN HERE
Drivers typically run within a 500-mile radius,
70% of Deliveries are to HAMMOND (Local).
Usually run multiple routes per day, and may require a 10 hour break on the road on more than one occasion
Employees must have personal transportation available for travel to and from the Walmart DC
The operation runs 24/7, will include driving at night, weekends, and holidays.
Drivers work 6 days with a 34 hr reset off
Off days are based on availability with no guaranteed weekend spots. MOST LIKELY
Drivers will slip seat tractors that include both day cabs and sleepers
After 1 yr on the account, drivers may take a week of paid vacation. After 3 years on the account they will receive two weeks of vacation.
