Eligibility for Company matching 401K benefit after 3 months of employment.Manages key design projects, that entail the coordination and completion of projects in a timely manner, as well as, within the projected scope and budget. Will work with an array of people in order to ensure all aspects of projects are completed to the satisfaction of all entities involved. Will Draft/design for a range of plans from smaller straightforward projects to large complex projects, as well as, contribute to preparation of plans, skilled engineering drawings, specifications, details, maps, plats and other displays for engineering projects using IKE Office, GPS, GIS, and CADD software. Looking for a Project Manager familiar with Make Ready Engineering (MRE), Pole Loading Analysis (PLA) and an understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) to help ensure that new/established utility pole attachments meet utility standards and applicable codes.Job Responsibilities:

Performing designs/modifications on utility electrical systems, reconciling conflicts found in the layouts of designs and performing quality reviews of project deliverables.

Establish, maintain and coordinate a dependency-based project schedule for the duration of the planning, implementation, and close-out phases and follow up with utilities.

Present reports to participants on progress, as well as, problems and solutions.

Performs customer support activity when necessary, while interacting with clients in a professional manner.

Proficient at interpreting technical and operational documents, manuals, blueprints, system maps, construction specs, standards, etc.

Responds quickly and accurately to requests pertaining to all aspects of projects.

Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project output, as well as, evaluate/asses results of said projects.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, i.e. spreadsheets, diagrams, maps, and all records pertaining to projects.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related fields /PM Certifications and/or 3+ years of equivalent experience in the design, field work and record maintenance of overhead distribution lines for Electrical

Familiarity of Make Ready, Pole Loading experience, and the National Electric Safety Code (NESC).

Looking for candidates with good communication skills from the electrical utilities, telecommunications or engineering services companies who are quick learners, for a lot of this is based on the job knowledge.

Knowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards, practices and regulatory requirements.

Capable of applying client, industry and regulatory standards and requirements to new and existing distribution system components.

Evaluation of completed designs and design products to ensure compliance with client, industry and regulatory requirements.

Comprehension of mathematical usage of measurements.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with leadership capabilities.

Solid organizational abilities including attention to detail, multitasking, and excellent written/verbal communication.

Strong working knowledge of computers and computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
