Job Number: 1003665The Director, Strategic Partnerships represents the whole spectrum of the business’s portfolio (Clinical and Commercial) across assigned accounts and ensures that robust strategic growth plans (Gross Awards, Revenues and Profit), P&L targets and excellent operational delivery are developed and attained. The Director, Strategic Partnerships responsibilities also include leadership of a strong and experienced key account management team, managing to and achieving quarterly and annual targets, development of robust strategic plans to drive growth, solutions design, development and oversight. Responsibilities Provide leadership over the assigned account team and key accounts. Deal in the achievement of excellence and insight to surpass customer expectations. Proactively lead the strategic account planning process and execute performance objectives, sales targets, KPI’s and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual periods Lead team in assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs on a regular basis Accountable for the achievement of the account’s assigned targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of the business’s overall objectives. The incumbent also leads the modeling of the account’s departmental vision and values and oversees their adoption Act as a leader and mentor to key personnel, assisting in the execution of duties where necessary, constantly honing their skills and ensuring constant professional development Drive and oversee the development of account specific growth strategies and approaches across the company. The incumbent must understand customer strategic plans and can readily craft solutions that help the customer achieve their overall strategy and growth plans as well as those of the company Achieve sales, revenue and profit goals and strategies that advance the key accounts’ performance and enables the achievement of the departments’ as well as the business’s financial goals Build strong and long-lasting relationships with customers through the creation of long- term planning and understanding Work to create cross-functional engagements and understandings with appropriate departments to align goals and approaches that facilitate smooth achievement of key account objectives, develop and execute change initiatives that impact and influence the organization to be more customer-centric Work with finance in determining financial requirements for the department and developing the department’s internal budgetary allocation Work closely with senior stakeholders in the establishment of departmental strategies, goals, targets and delivery Oversee and facilitate the gathering of research and data on customers, the market and the competitive environment in order to identify growth areas to exceed assigned targets and KPI’s. Partner with appropriate entities within the corporation to gain critical business intelligence. Gather, compile, analyze and create formal reports and presentations that will be used collaboratively in the formulation of decisions and strategies Measure the account team’s performance, weighing it against the business’s targets and KPIs, which also enable the identification of areas of improvement and avails crucial information for strategic development of the business Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree and preferably a Master’s degree in a related field 10 years of Industry experience required 5 years of large account management leadership experience preferred Proven and successful track record in establishing strong and long-term customer relationships, being able to retain existing business and develop new business. Demonstrated ability to grow share in an Enterprise account Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a senior team, leading them to surpassing of goals/targets Strong Financial acumen and P&L management experience Demonstrated ability to oversee customer programs and deliver on the customer promise Demonstrated success at building relationships at the highest customer levels Demonstrated ability to effectively translate customer needs (expressed and unexpressed) into a successful account plan that drives growth in share of market Successfully able to map customer strategy, culture and ecosystem in a way that enhances business opportunity identification and success Demonstrated ability to secure and leverage internal resources from the organization to accelerate performance of customer success Strong executive presence and able to flex style to effectively interact and influence customers and internal constituencies Demonstrate high proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Excel, which are necessary for the creation of visually and verbally engaging reports and presentations for key stakeholders All interested applicants must apply online.
