General Summary:
Responsible for performing tests on materials, products and equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Performs a variety of tests and test procedures from oral and written instructions using normal laboratory equipment (electronic, physical testing, etc.)
2. Design and builds simple systems i.e. test or repair rigs from instructions and directions.
3. Diagnoses malfunctioning products and makes modifications and recommendations.
4. Performs work, tests or experiments from specific standard instructions and records data for analysis.
5. Assists with production rework of product, test stand modifications, demo products.
6. Provides quality control support and engineering support.
7. Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient math and computer skills.
Ability to plan and schedule own work activities.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and designs.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Basic machining ability
Basic Electrical troubleshooting ability
Skilled using various measuring devices.
