UPS is hiring individuals to work as Part-Time Package Handlers. You can receive up to $250 a week in bonus money, working as a package handler in Louisville, KY. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Part-Time employees usually work 3 - 5 hours each day and work schedules can vary (Monday - Friday), (Tuesday - Saturday), and (Sunday - Thursday) depending on the building needs. Package Handlers receive a competitive hourly rate and also an attractive benefits package. Please note that these opportunities are part-time only working approximately 15 - 25 hours per week. UPS provides an excellent employment opportunity for students and offers tuition assistance through it's Metropolitan College and Earn and Learn Programs. Metropolitan College participants work third-shift at Worldport and attend the University of Louisville or Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC). Our Metro College student employees receive 100% of their tuition paid when program guidelines are met. With the Earn and Learn tuition benefit, student employees can attend any approved post-secondary school and receive up to $5,250 a year ($25,000 lifetime max) in education assistance. This assistance can be used for tuition, books, and fees as long as you are attending an approved college, university, trade or technical school. You are eligible for the Earn and Learn program on your first day of work.
