Bilingual Team Lead Responsibilities:
-Heavy Lifting of up to 50 lbs
-Standing/Walking all shift
-Coordinate the activities of departmental personnel to include safety observations, daily work assignments, training, etc
-Must perform and/or coordinate the training of employees on equipment and quality measurement devices
-Inspecting product, machinery, and department personnel to maintain organizational and customer standards
-Organize the rental process, including logistics, refurbishment and maintenance of the supplies of the Company as well as the maintenance of plant machinery according to the schedule established
-Optimizing and improving the productivity of the Company via control of quality, costs and delays
-Attend to all electrical and mechanical issues related to washing and other equipment (i.e: welding machine, compressor, etc)
-Manage spare parts inventory (replacement of stocks for machine and repairs) and subcontracted maintenance activities
-Establish a schedule of preventive interventions in relation to the technical specifications for each machine
-Maintain the technical file for each machine
-Position will be responsible for the maintaining of our lean manufacturing and 5S standards.
-Leads work of other team members
-Inspects parts
-Ensures all team members arrive to job area on time
-Ensures all team members have proper equipment, tools and gauges; verifies that equipment is signed out
-Serves as interim acting job leader when project supervisor is unavailable
-Communicates with customer/job site contacts as needed on job requirements
-Verifies team members compliance with procedures, policies and job site specific regulations
-Completes required paperwork as needed for duration and completion of a project
-Reports accidents or safety issues
-Completes required training classes
-All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Bilingual Team Lead Requirements:
-Walk, stand, and/or sit for duration of shift
-Meet any other physical requirements of project
-Work in different climates for duration of shift
-Bilingual Team Lead must have logistics experience
-Bilingual Team Lead must have experience with leading a team
-Proficient with computers
-High school diploma or equivalent work experience
-Basic math and reading comprehension skills required
-Experience in creating and maintaining production reports in Excel spreadsheet formats, and knowledge of general -machine operations, and strong mechanical comprehension skills.
-Bilingual Team Lead needs to have previous experience with welding preferred
-The candidate must have good employee relations skills in mentoring and counseling production personnel and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Prefer Bachelors degree in a business-related field, industrial maintenance technology certification or equivalent experience
-Ability to speak, read, and write in English at a level appropriate for the job and communicate effectively
-Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is helpful for the bilingual team lead position but not required
Bilingual Team Lead Shift
-Must be flexible enough to work 1st shift and 2nd shift
-Must be available to work 8a-5p, Monday-Friday, or as business requires
Bilingual Team Lead Salary
-$14.00-$16.00 per hour
