Flexibility for this position to work remotely.Responsible for Global Regulatory compliance for all Brown-Forman liquids by ensuring products produced globally comply with both country of production and country of sale regulatory requirements. Maintain contacts with global regulatory bodies to keep abreast of all current and proposed regulations and labeling requirements. Manages internal processes, databases and tools to develop Brown-Forman strategies on various regulatory matters.Collaboratively works with appropriate corporate functions (Legal, R&D, Quality, EMO) on current and proposed legislation regarding materials involved in the manufacture of Brown-Forman products globally. Able to utilize current systems to maintain a comprehensive database of all ingredients, sub-components, usage levels, etc to ensure B-F liquids remain compliant in all current and future markets. Generates and maintains all physical product information for all Brown-Forman liquids globally. Continually identifies areas needing improvement and influences key stakeholders when needed. Develops and maintains a strong network of business partners outside of Brown-Forman critical to staying in front of regulatory matters. Supports the approval of customs-clearance processes for product samples and/or ingredients.Job Responsibilities:Works with Global Production teams on all liquids/labels to ensure compliance in all markets where produced and/or sold. Manages all product information and develops strategies to keep B-F ahead of changing regulations. 30%Builds relationships with customers across the organization, as well as outside vendors that help support compliance (TTB, SWA, Spirits EU, Flavor Houses) Works closely with Legal, Analytical Chemistry, Quality, Product and Process development groups. Technical regulatory expert for liquid compliance. 20%Management of Analytical Chemistry group. Accountable for team’s business output. Documents employees’ objectives and performance. Maintains a high level of team engagement. Develops career growth plans for employees. 20%Manages product certificate program for the company across all markets. Works with Legal, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure completion and accuracy of all reported information. 20%Maintains consumer facing information such as product label claims, nutritional data, ingredient information, and addressing consumer inquiries. 10%Required Experience & Education:Bachelor’s degree in a Science Discipline7+ years of experience in a regulatory position (may be offset by advanced degree, or similar related experience)Extensive knowledge of reading and interpreting regulationsStrong database skillsPreferred Experience & Education:Experience within the beverage alcohol industry is preferredGrade 31Brown-Forman Corporation is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
