activities and support services including general clerical and reception duties

under the supervision of a registered nurse.Assists nurse, physicians, and families as neededRecognizes changes in patient status and reports

appropriate information to registered nurse.Assists with admission, transportation and discharge

of patientsDemonstrates knowledge of the principals of growth

and development over the life span of the patient to include neonatal, infant,

pediatric, adult and geriatric.Assists patient with dressing and undressingAssists patient with grooming and maintaining proper

and clean appearanceAssists patient with elimination/toileting needsAssists the patient with oral careAssists patients in transferring, repositioning,

alignment and ambulationAccommodates patient’s needs through responding

appropriately to patient’s verbal/nonverbal expressions of needsSafeguards patient’s propertyKeeps patient’s living areas pleasant

and orderlyMaintains patient’s self esteem,

privacy and confidentiality of personal information.Provides patients with opportunities

for independence and choice consistent with their plan of care.Assures patient’s rights are protected

and that all patients, families, and significant others are made aware of

patient’s rights.Measures body functions and documents

care provided to patientsReceives and shares information,

observes and reports patients condition and any change of status to registered

nurseProvides Safety, Sitter services for

the patient as assignedDemonstrates and practices appropriate

hand hygiene in delivery of patient careOther duties as assigned.JobRequirements / Qualifications Education /Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): High School

Diploma or GED required.BLS must be
