DescriptionThe Lead Product Manager Conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.ResponsibilitiesLocation: work at home anywhereAs Humana implements its multi-year Enterprise Clinical Operating Model (ECOM) strategy there is an enhanced need to integrate insights and better support learning & decision-making across Humana’s clinical operations. The vision for the Control Tower program is to act as a ‘central nervous system’ to proactively monitor performance, spot trends, and assess changes across Humana’s portfolio of clinical initiatives. Working closely with the Control Tower Director, the Product Manager leads the day-to-day execution & coordination of the Control Tower activities. The Product Manager collaborates with the Control Tower team to translate user needs and prioritize agile implementation of new capabilities and clinical programs for the Control Tower.Responsibilities:Partners closely with the Director to articulate progress and status of Control Tower roadmap implementation

Acts as a bridge between the technical and clinical experts to ensure needs of Control Tower users are being addressed

Converts user needs into well-articulated and precise product specifications to be implemented by the product development team

Articulates resources needed to deliver product requirements by agreed upon timelines

Defines and communicates agile development backlog

Regularly connects with Director & stakeholders to understand priorities, communicate progress, and flags roadblocks

Manages and organizes backlog with Control Tower Director

Chairs "exploration workshops" to uncover & define capabilities/features

Collaborates with the product development team to drive sprint priorities

Oversees day-to-day development of the CT capabilities and program modules

Specifies requirements for current and future products, clearly communicating what needs to be done and by when

Leads daily stand-ups & manages scheduling of sprint planning and product demonstrations

Presents, integrates and deploys solutions

Reviews output & coordinates approvals

Ensure stakeholder, client, and compliance needs are met

Ensure outcomes are integrated and deployed successfully

Please note: once normal travel resumes post coronavirus 20/25% travel is required for this role.Role EssentialsBachelors degree or equivalent work experience

7 years or more of product management experience

Experience within healthcare analytics space

Excellent leadership skills demonstrated in technical environment & experience developing advanced analytics products and capabilities

Experience leading cross functional teams

Expert in agile ways of working and scrum process

Experience gathering requirements, converting it into a vision/roadmap, and breaking down into projects.

Outstanding verbal, written and visual communication skills, ability to adapt to audience, incl. senior stakeholders

Ability to translate and prioritize business needs into product solutions

Ability to translate and prioritize customer needs into technical requirements

Working technical understanding of the relevant technology stack and tools available (key data platforms – Microsoft Azure, Salesforce, PowerBI, etc.)

Role DesirablesAdvanced degree in mathematics, engineering, or computer science-related field

Knowledge of Humana’s networks, clinical and business analytics and policy levers
