Our client is a public health organization located in Lexington, KY. They are looking to hire a Contract Tracer who will be dedicated to help minimize the impact of COVID-19.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $18-25/hour
Position Overview: The Contact Tracer works with COVID-19 patients to help them recall everyone with whom they have had close contact during the time-frame while they may have been infectious. The Contact Tracer also works with the identified contacts to the case and advises them on self-quarantine.
Responsibilities of the Contact Tracer:
Call and communicate, in a professional and empathetic manner, with household and non-household close contacts of COVID-19 patients
Provide contacts, as applicable, with approved information about Saint Louis County (in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control) quarantine procedures, testing resources, and contact monitoring procedures
Inform citizens on the importance of quarantine requirements and steps to follow if symptoms develop
Record collected information in the online, secure client resource management system
Maintain daily communication with supervisor on activities and tasks
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications of the Contact Tracer:
Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
Excellent interpersonal skills required
Proficiency with computers
Experience in social work or public health is preferred
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
